By printing method

Digital — $75–$150 per 1,000

Best for small runs and fast turnaround. Full color, great quality, no setup fees. This is where most small businesses should start.

Offset — $50–$100 per 1,000 (at 5,000+)

Cheaper per unit once you print in volume, with the most consistent color. Worth it above ~5,000 cards.

Letterpress / specialty — $200–$500 per 1,000

Thick stock, deep impression, foil and painted edges. A premium, tactile statement piece.
